The room matched the photos, had good equipment like air‑conditioning, external blinds, and a coffee machine, and the check‑in was simple; luggage could stay a bit longer in the hotel. However, about a week before the trip I started receiving several scam texts every few days from numbers with UAE prefixes on WhatsApp, containing my exact arrival and departure dates, booking number, full name, and more. I reported this to both Booking and the hotel, but they just dismissed it with “ignore” and said nothing about where the data came from or how they were protecting it. I felt unsafe looking forward to the holiday. I’ve made several bookings through Booking before and this was the only one where this happened, so I won’t book here again. The place is also very noisy; although it’s close to the train station, there are nicer areas at the same distance where you can stay at night without the window looking straight onto the next block of apartment buildings or a streetlamp shining in.
