We loved the location and historic buildings, and the room we finally received was excellent. However, arriving at 6 pm we found no one at reception; the receptionist eventually located our booking and handed us the keys. The room was unmade and unclean, but after a long wait we were upgraded. We had also booked dinner in advance, yet no staff greeted us at the restaurant and we waited 15 minutes for a waiter, who then gave us a table but we had to wait 20 minutes for the only menu, which was in Catalan. By the time we could order, our preferred starter was gone and there were only three starters total. The food took another 20 minutes to arrive, appeared sporadically, and tasted mediocre. The décor of wine racks and barrels made us expect a wine list, but the waiter offered only red, white, or rose; the single red bottle we ordered didn’t arrive until halfway through the meal and was low quality. The waiter, though earnest, seemed untrained, alone, and overwhelmed by the 50 diners. The food that finally came was bland. We had a similarly disappointing breakfast the next morning. In short, the staff tried hard, but the whole experience was chaotic and stressful. The owners urgently need to reassess HR, staffing, and training to benefit both staff and guests.

The setting was exceptional. The room was spacious and the bathroom very clean. The breakfast was excellent, hearty, and rich in local products. The atmosphere encouraged calm and relaxation.

A very lovely, quiet property with friendly staff and extremely comfortable beds, tasty food at the restaurant, and a good breakfast; we felt very at ease and would have liked to stay longer. The rooms are a bit noisy from neighboring rooms.

The room was cozy with large beds, and the breakfast was very good with high‑quality products. However, maintenance is lacking, especially in the bathroom.
