“Prijs kwaliteit past niet.”
The rooms were decent and the staff were friendly, but the building felt old and the entrance had a stale, smoky smell. There was no air conditioning in the rooms.

Breakfast was simple but the quality was acceptable; the room was nice, the beds comfortable, everything clean and there were plenty of towels. The staff were helpful and the terrace was cozy. Parking in the garage across the street was cheap, and they also offered a secure spot for bikes. A lift would have been useful, as the older guests had to climb 2‑4 flights of stairs with their luggage. The dinner menu was extensive, but we only used it one night, and for half the price you could have had a good meal at the three nearby restaurants.

The staff were friendly, the food was tasty, and the room was beautiful with historic details from the old city gate.

Dinner was delicious, but the breakfast buffet was disappointing, the breakfast area was dirty and uncomfortable, the lack of air conditioning or a fan made it hard to cope with 38°C, and there was no way to cast content with only German TV channels available.

The location is good, the room and bathroom are renovated and clean, but the house with the guest room feels a bit dated, and the rooms are not air‑conditioned and are too warm.
