The kindness of Kembo makes the stay unique, and he gives perfect advice before any excursion so the experience is good. I guess it was because we caught it during construction in the low season, but the rooms were more neglected than the photos showed.

Magnificent hotel on the banks of the Gambie River: from the restaurant or terrace, panoramic views. The staff were very attentive. The rooms face a well‑maintained tropical garden and offer all the necessary comfort (good bedding, air‑conditioning, windows equipped with mosquito screens) at a reasonable price. There was a temporary wifi outage and a power cut (network).

The food is EXCELLENT. The best of the 8 places we stayed at!!! Rene is an exceptional chef. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes are elaborate (breakfast, lunch or dinner). It compensates for the rest of the shortcomings. The rooms are very mediocre, although clean. But one has to consider the possibilities of the area.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's location and the friendly, helpful staff. However, my stay was marred by several issues, including the lack of a TV, hot water, and Wi-Fi, as well as a slippery shower floor. The breakfast was also underwhelming, with the same limited options every day. Considering the high price and lack of basic amenities, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
