The Golden Wheel Hotel, situated in historic Nerudova street beneath Prague Castle, offers boutique accommodations with individually decorated rooms, parquet flooring, and tea makers. A small outdoor terrace and free internet access are available. Some rooms feature original hand-painted wooden ceilings. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Charles Bridge, 1.6 km from Petrin park, and 2.6 km from Old Town Square.

The reception lady was very friendly and efficient, and the breakfast was varied and excellent. However, the beds were uncomfortable—the mattress sagged and was very awkward, the pillows were too high and not soft, and the room wasn’t cleaned well. There are stairs to reach the rooms and the elevator, so it’s not recommended for people with disabilities. Water was only provided on the arrival day, not every day. We left the room keys on the reception desk as instructed, but later they called us saying they couldn’t find them, even though they have cameras that should prevent such confusion.

I liked the location, very close to the castle and Charles Bridge, with many great restaurants that are charming and quiet. I also loved the spacious room and the yummy breakfast. The shower took longer to get warm.

Personalen var supertrevlig och hjälpsam. Frukosten hade lite av allt det var fräsch och god!. Att hotellet ligger i en uppförsbacke, och att man för att ta sig till hotellrummen behöver ta hissar i olika nivåer kan det vara svårtillgängligt för rörelsehindrade
