The building, location, surroundings, and friendly staff were great, but the old shower cabin and the faucet that didn’t work properly left us wanting more luxury for a room that cost 263,- per night.

The location, ambiance, and comfort were solid, but the breakfast was pricey and more suited to a French breakfast style. During dinner, a serving waiter could have stayed throughout, and after the wine recommendation the communication between waiters wasn’t always perfect, which is not the fault of the staff but the system.

The location was calm and beautiful with amazing views, and the many lovely animals—especially the beautiful horses—made the surroundings feel extra special. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was excellent, dinner was high quality, and we enjoyed the swimming pool, though it was rather small and there weren’t enough bicycles to explore the area. The dinner was very refined, but we would have preferred simpler food.

The atmosphere and helpfulness were pleasant, and the reception was nice. However, in the evening of late July 2026, the extreme heat made it impossible to dine indoors, which was especially problematic for an 82‑year‑old like me; we could only sit in the shade, but the heat felt like a heavy, damp blanket.

The quiet was appreciated, but everything felt a bit old‑fashioned, especially the air conditioning and the shower.
