“Für eine Nacht okay, nochmal buchen würde ich es nicht.”
Very friendly staff and a versatile breakfast buffet. Access via code worked well, no annoying hotel card or key. Convenient location for my purposes. I expected a somewhat newer setup based on the photos. The room looked quite 'used'; the trash bin was broken and the shower head sprayed in all directions. A towel was dirty, there were stains on the ceiling, and there was no hair dryer.

The proximity to the Rhine was nice. The room’s cleanliness and the broken/insufficient toilet flush that repeatedly caused blockages were unacceptable. When I asked for a fix, I was told the problem was known and nothing could be changed! I don’t pay a low price for a stay, so this was a “no go” and I won’t recommend the hotel. I also couldn’t change rooms because they said the toilet problem existed in other rooms too. The operator should seriously think about this and find a solution quickly! Additionally, there seemed to be staff shortages, as my room wasn’t cleaned until late afternoon. Finding used toiletries from the previous guest in the bathroom says a lot about the lack of room cleaning… and these are just a few of the shortcomings!

The location and breakfast were good, but the rooms were very tatty, carpets needed replacing, bedrooms and bathrooms were a bit tired, and there was no tea, coffee, or fridge in the room.
