The place is 10 minutes on foot from the center, with good mattresses, 2 toilets (one per bedroom and one in the living level), very spacious, large kitchen. The host Yrina was very responsive and attentive. We could leave our luggage in the hall until noon. The only note is that the house is on a nice floor, so the marble stairs to get there are steep and not suitable for disabled people. The marble spiral staircase for the two bedrooms and the bathroom is similar, but there is a third bedroom on the living level. The kitchen is equipped, but a few more dishes of different sizes would be nice. In the bathroom there’s no place to hang clothes or towels and no shelf, even though it’s very spacious.

The place turned out to be larger than we expected and the spot was convenient. However, the bathroom lacked hanging hooks for robes and towels, the kitchen had no hot water, and there was no vacuum or dustpan and brush to clean off dirt from our shoes. The heavy roadworks outside, with loud earth‑moving machinery and vibrations that literally shook the house, especially the early‑morning start, kept us awake and even prevented us from using the garage under the house.

“Bruge was a home from home”

The location was perfect for city exploration yet far enough from the main square’s bustle. The property felt homely and cozy, and the host was very friendly and helpful.

A less than ten‑minute walk from Grote Markt and five minutes from the bus stop heading to the train station, the house was spotless and Iryna’s communication was outstanding. The kitchen was fully equipped for quick meals, the living room spacious and comfortable, and the beds were so cozy that I hope everyone can sleep as well. The only downside was the mosquitoes, which either kill you before bed or keep you up all night, but that’s a minor issue.

The apartment was clean and had all the basics. Extensive and noisy roadworks ran along the entire road, leaving the surface muddy and clay‑laden, making access difficult. Check with the host before paying.
