It felt like we were embraced by nature right next to the lake. One of the receptionists was unfriendly and didn’t seem eager to help. On the first night, the bus from Rovaniemi was rescheduled and we missed it. The phone said no charge would be applied, yet there was no explanation about the next day’s hotel. On the final day, when we tried to change, we were told the hotel was closed on Sunday and to find another place – very disappointing.

The swimming pool and sauna were nice, and breakfast was really good. We were in a tower‑style apartment that smelled moldy; my nose was congested in the morning and my clothes carried a stale odor.
