The staff provided excellent service, and the 300‑yen grilled curry and stamina bowl offered about 2.5 times the expected portion and were tasty; the facilities were well‑equipped for the price with no noticeable shortcomings. The Wi‑Fi existed but, because the room is sound‑proof, the signal was weak, and the hair dryer didn’t work for some reason (I didn’t bother reporting it since it didn’t affect me much).

I was glad to find a cheap room when business hotels were pricey at that time, but the air‑conditioner never quite reached the bed; cranking it up made the sofa area uncomfortably cold, which bothered me a little.

The place worked fine as an ordinary city hotel and I felt safe leaving my car in the garage with a shutter, yet having to call every time to have the shutter opened was a hassle; the staff’s friendliness, however, made the inconvenience tolerable.
