Free parking was a plus, but I arrived at 15:50 and the room still wasn’t ready; the sink hadn’t been cleaned and water dripped from the tap, I could hear the neighbor snoring, and the other guests were noisy and cheerful. The sofa looked like it came from the ’70s, the low bed creaked, and for €68 it felt far too pricey unless you have no expectations.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, with every single person I interacted with being extremely friendly and attentive. The staff's warm hospitality really made my stay special.

I stayed at this hotel in late September, and it was the first one on my trip where the heating was on, which was a lovely surprise. However, I did have some trouble finding the place due to an incorrect address. The GPS led me to the center of the municipality, but it turned out the hotel was actually in a neighboring town. I even asked Google for directions to find the famous golden lion, and ended up two villages away, where I found another guesthouse with the same name.
