“Beautiful, historic hotel building with an excellent, friendly, helpful staff”

The historic hotel building is beautifully kept and sits just a short bridge walk from the Old City’s core. The room was spacious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I used the laundry service, which was very reasonably priced and of top quality. The hamam was simple – just a large hot tub – but the massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. The bed felt a bit soft and uneven, and there was no water in the plumbing overnight, which was a city‑wide issue and not the hotel’s fault; they ran on an emergency supply for my four‑night stay. From 5:00 a.m. until bedtime, water was fine with good pressure and a comfortable shower, but if you woke up in the middle of the night, there would be no water.

“Memorable stay”

The hotel carries a rich history, and the staff happily share its story. It was the first hamaam in Sarajevo and still offers a small hamaam for guests. No issues.

“Good base for exploring Sarajevo”

The location in the historic area is great and close to old Dubrovnik. The hamam was excellent, breakfast had a good variety, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
