“An average motel room that was over-priced”
The location is great, close to shops, the hotel, and the lake. The room was compact but included a bench and two chairs. Every wall except one was dark brick, making the space feel even smaller. There was no light near the cupboard holding plates and cutlery, so you had to open the bathroom door and use its light to see inside. The bathroom floor and especially the shower would have benefited from a thorough scrub. There were no bedside lamps, and the two ceiling downlights above the bed were too bright for that purpose.
