The room was roomy, very well furnished, and spotless. We had a lovely terrace, seating area, and kitchen, and nothing was missing. The only downside was the location; nearby streets have a market that brings an unpleasant smell whenever you go in or out of the accommodation.

During my multi‑day hikes I kept returning to Hostel Colonial. Each time I enjoyed the wonderfully comfortable, warm beds and the imaginative wall art. The hostel’s quiet courtyard and high‑roof terrace made it a pure oasis in an otherwise very lively neighborhood! The “Padrone” was friendly and answered all my questions well. Everything was fine.

The owner woke up very early to make breakfast for my whole family because we left early for our tours; we really appreciated how kind they were. The only complaint was the very narrow street.
