The Shepherd’s hut feels very comfortable and snug, with a heater for chilly nights, a really comfy bed, a hot and powerful shower, and now Wi‑Fi plus an air fryer and microwave. Pauline and Bill are fantastic hosts, friendly and helpful. Finding the hut is a bit tricky, but Bill posted signs and was ready to guide me.

The spot is gorgeous and super quiet; the shepherds hut felt like a cozy, spotless retreat, perfect for a weekend escape, and the hosts were incredibly friendly. Even the wind turbines added a soothing swoosh to the experience. 🙂

This tiny hideaway feels like a million miles from civilization—private and peaceful. Pauline and Bill were amazing hosts, welcoming and friendly, and my dog Freddie loved running free on the field and playing with their two dogs. The hut was snug and had everything we needed; we’re definitely coming back.
