“Ottimo servizio, decisamente consigliato.”

I spent a night here and the hotel was well kept, warm in style with wooden floors and everything else, which I liked more than the colder hotels; the room was tidy and well organized. The buffet breakfast offered a wide range of sweets, or salty options for those who prefer them. The staff and the owner were very kind, helpful and professional, showing they care about their guests. The location was very convenient, just 200 m from the start of Corso Italia. I should mention that I had booked a room, but upon arrival the hotel was full because of a burraco tournament, so they gave me a higher room at no extra cost, including a parking spot. That really reinforces everything already said. Definitely worth keeping in mind if you want to come to Cortina – highly recommended!

The first night we had a dark, very bad room, but later we were allowed to change to a nice one.

The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making the start of our trip smooth; the room was lovely and the balcony view was amazing.

“Highly recommend. Close to town, buses, lifts. Views.”

Breakfast was great, the staff were nice and I loved the bartender and breakfast crew. The rooms had nice wood and upgraded bathrooms. The hotel is close to town, so you can walk to the lifts and the main town. We stayed here for two nights before doing the Alta Via 1 and I left a rare bottle of wine. When we returned the next week, the bottle was gone. The owners were very apologetic and gave us another bottle in its place; the owner said he would see what he could do. Two days later, another bottle of the one that had disappeared was in our room! I think he sent a special one all the way from the Trieste region. It was from a small vineyard that usually doesn’t sell commercially, so that was special! I shared a glass of that wine with him. Stephano Rimaldi, Owner. Apparently his grandpa owned this hotel back when it was one of the first in the city. The only thing that could have been improved was the lighting outside on the deck, which stayed on too late.

“Estancia bastante mejorable. En definitiva, no recomendaría el hotel a otras personas.”

Perhaps the location is a plus, although it’s not especially central; the facilities are quite old and the breakfast could be much better, especially considering the high price of the establishment.
