It’s about a 5‑minute walk from Mori‑no‑miya Station, where JR and the subway run, and you’ll find supermarkets, 100‑yen shops, and restaurants nearby, which is convenient. The environment is quiet. The building and facilities feel a bit old, and the hallway and rooms looked a little stark at first, but the rooms were clean and spacious, and the water and appliances were well maintained and very usable. The heating worked well and kept the room warm. The bed had a moderate firmness, so I didn’t have any trouble during multiple nights. Air purifiers, humidifiers, and a large hair dryer that I could bring into the room were also helpful. The staff and cleaners were meticulous and very kind. Having a convenience store on the first floor was handy, and the microwave on each floor was a big plus. The only issue was that the water noise from the neighboring room woke me up at midnight, though I didn’t hear any other sounds or chatter. The toilet was old‑style, and while the flushing and washlet worked fine, the sound of flushing was surprisingly loud. The room was a bit dark.
