The place is full of charm right below the castle and church; we stayed in the annex beside a pretty yard with trees and café tables, and the interior, an odd mix of paintings and furnishings, gave it a homely vibe. Bertrand himself was very welcoming and kind, cooking us a lovely evening meal and an equally good breakfast with his homemade confitures, making us feel like guests in his home—a welcome break from the impersonality of many other places. Thank you, Bertrand!

The city’s pizzeria was good, but the breakfast, bathroom size, lack of privacy with the host, oil smell, and all the old stuff everywhere were disappointing.

A very pleasant stay under the apricot tree, warm welcome, nicely located on the upper part of the old section of Durban-Corbière, the place is very calm and charming; we recommend it!
