“Definitely a letdown”

The front desk gentleman was friendly and moved us to the opposite side of the building to avoid the trucks, but the room smelled musty and moldy throughout our stay, and moisture soaked our clothes while they lay on the bed. As an asthma sufferer, that was uncomfortable. We arrived late and had a full day of work the next day, so asking for a new room felt like an extra hassle. On Saturday we left a “do not disturb” sign, yet when we returned the towels had been swapped and the trash removed—nice, but it made me question why the housekeeper entered the room despite the sign. The room itself was dirty, with dust everywhere and a discolored M&M on the floor that seemed to have been there forever. The pool area was neglected, littered with leaves, preventing us from enjoying it. Breakfast was repetitive each morning—sausage patties that grew drier each day, almost as if reheated. We had stayed here before, but this visit was a clear letdown and I won’t return. Thanks.

The place had a good location and friendly guests, but a single roach in my room had me on edge; I had to check all my bags before leaving after killing it.

“Won’t be back”

The location was fine, but the TV didn’t work, the room wasn’t cleaned, the AC was noisy, the hallway rug needed cleaning, and breakfast was just average.

“Accomodation was great, location was a little disappointing for walking but Ubers were readily available at a good fare”

The property was quiet and the staff were excellent, but the location was a bit far from Charleston.

Parking was very convenient, with no complaints.
