“Perfect position for our requirements. Will be excellent after completion of the improvement works”

We chose this spot because it was spot on for what we needed, just a stone’s throw from the train station and the metro. The room we got was quiet, roomy, with plenty of closet space, a big comfy bed, and a generous bathroom that had all the essentials. Everything was spotless, and the lobby looked pretty nice. Most of the front desk people were helpful. However, while we were there, major renovation work was happening in the breakfast area and one elevator was out of service. We had to walk past the dusty, noisy construction zone, and we weren’t told beforehand about the disruption. The breakfast room felt cramped, and the food was only just acceptable.

“Oude cinéma, vergane glorie”

Ruime kamer Ontbijt. Kamer nogal gehorig: veel geluid van buitenuit, soms via houten vloer/plafond ook van boven. Personeel spreekt enkel Engels. Kamer, meubilair, opmaak en inrichting zijn eerder verouderd: veel gebruikssporen en onvolmaaktheden. Ontbijt toch eerder beperkt in keuze of aanbod
