The place was decent, a chalet split into two apartments in the middle of the countryside with free pool access and a location close to the city of Matera. The interior was very minimalist but functional and clean. The breakfast was very sparse, only a few slices of toast and some pretty bad industrial pastries. They gave us a typical sliced bread from Matera, but we couldn’t enjoy it because we used it for dinner the next day and it was already hard and impossible to eat. It would have been nice to have a microwave and a toaster.

The owners were kind and welcoming, the accommodation was comfortable and well-equipped, and the countryside was quiet while still being close to Matera. Nothing else.

Everything was well prepared, and we made the breakfast ourselves. The location was a bit outside Matera, not ideal because you need a car for the city visit.

The location was great for relaxing. The owners were friendly, breakfast was plentiful. The pool was perfect to enjoy after a day on the road. The proximity to Matera was very good. The price was a bit on the higher side, but the peace, location and facilities were worth it.
