The place is beautifully positioned in the valley, and the staff were helpful. The breakfast was very good. The room we stayed in was on the ground floor and unfortunately it picked up noise from outside.

The staff, especially Ibrahim, were very friendly, the food was fabulous, and the rooms were comfortable. It was a great base for exploring the best part of Morocco.

The view from the terrace alone makes this Gîte a "must visit". I especially liked the evening meals, particularly when served on the terrace at sunset. The owner drops by occasionally and the conversations are always interesting and useful. I have stayed at Gîte Ali about 10 times over the past four years. The Gîte is just a two‑minute walk from the village café, which becomes a gathering spot, especially when a good football match is on TV. The internet connection was poor.

Ibrahim was cordial and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the place was clean. I recommend it. The Wi‑Fi was absent in an area where the networks are already unreliable, and there was little transparency about extra fees.
