Frans and Jojo were wonderful hosts who immediately attended to every request, welcomed us warmly, and had all the island information; the breakfast was tasty, the kitchen team is sweet and cooks very well, the location is lovely right by the sea, and with the scooter you can quickly get to the tuk‑tuk; the hotel lacks luxury amenities if that’s what you’re after. A small light by the bed would be nice.

The view of the lake and the little beach were lovely, the breakfast was tasty, and I felt completely relaxed; I definitely recommend Barbara Hotel and the owners were very friendly.

The hotel sat right on the lake shore, the rooms were spotless, and the staff were fantastic. Hosts Jojor and Frans helped us with everything—restaurants, scooters, and trips. Overall, a very pleasant stay, especially because of their treatment :) Everything was fine.
