“The overall experience, except the food&restaurant, was decent, but the bad aspects about those two made us wanting”

The rooms were a decent size, there were playground options for kids, many pools, and it was close to the beach. The toilet had poo stains on the walls and door, the beach was narrow, and the restaurant was dirty, especially the bear sink. Regarding food and the restaurant: overall the food was mediocre, there were no options for special diets (lactose intolerance, non‑cow dairy products, histamine intolerance), and there was a lack of food labels—you would have to guess.

The hotel was generally nice but definitely not a 5* class as advertised. The photos on the website are carefully selected highlights. Overall it was a pleasant experience but far from matching the price range. The hotel is old and not in the best possible state. We had a nice time but felt a bit misled by the photos and descriptions.

“Erholung und Entspannung ohne offene Wünsche”

The staff were exceptionally friendly, the rooms were spotless, the beach was great, the kids’ playground was fun, and everything we asked for was handled. The bed felt a bit hard the first night, so we swapped it for a topper, and we could tell the employees were happy—birthday guests even get an extra day off. The only downside is that there’s not much to see on foot, so you’ll need a rental car, which you can arrange at the hotel.

“Great family-friendly resort with outstanding hospitality”

We stayed at Kiani Beach Resort in mid-September with our one-year-old son and had a great experience. The location is beautiful – directly by the sea with the mountains in the background. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Despite being a large resort, the service felt very personal. The food and drinks were also excellent. Thanks to the indoor and outdoor pools, the three restaurants and two bars, the resort never felt crowded. The only area for improvement would be the allergen labelling, which was not always completely consistent
