The breakfast buffet was varied and very plentiful, the room was spacious and clean, and there was a free parking spot right in front of the building. The only downside was that the vestibule had no lighting.

The beautiful park with the pool and plenty of loungers offers peace and relaxation. The location means you can quickly walk to Bardolino and even to Lazise.

Having stayed here twice, nothing was surprising. We liked the AC and the mini fridge for keeping extra drinks cold. The shower in our room was superb, and although we didn’t use the bidet, it’s available. The hotel lets guests reuse towels or have them replaced by housekeeping if they wish. The first‑floor room faced the nearby road, but we could see the lake beyond the trees around the car park, and the traffic noise was tolerable; we usually close the windows to keep mosquitoes out. Breakfast was well stocked with fruits, yogurt, bread, rolls, pastries, cold meats, cheeses, and hot dishes like boiled, scrambled, and fried eggs, sausages (though our favorites weren’t always available), and Italian bacon. Fresh fruit juice, a bean‑to‑cup coffee machine offering about four coffee types, and assorted cereals were also present. We appreciated the off‑road parking and the bus stop right outside the hotel for trips to Bardolino and Garda, while the bus stop for Lazise and Peschiera was just a few metres down the other side of the road. The waterfront runs along the main hotel, and the pier for passing ferries is literally a few metres away. We liked sitting on the many benches to enjoy the marina and lake views and watch people walking, biking, or running. While Cisano lacks the nightlife of Bardolino and Garda, there are plenty of family‑friendly restaurants, bars, and cafés within walking distance, and the hotel’s attached restaurant offers 10 % off all food ordered. The only downside was that there was no kettle in the room; otherwise, we had no complaints about the accommodation or service. I would say book the Hotel Vela d’Oro Dependence and enjoy your stay!
