We had a brilliant little “dining” space right in front of our room where we could sit down and chat in the evenings :)

The beds were comfy, and the hosts were genuinely nice, though they didn’t speak much German or English; eventually the lady pulled out her phone to help us. We were a party of four and had a single bedroom to ourselves, with a small common area that had a shared fridge, freezer, dishes, silverware, a microwave, and a dining table. It’s tucked out in the middle of nowhere, but we felt safe and it fit our road‑trip plans. There was a full restaurant downstairs, but it was empty and closed. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work, and the address on our reservation was wrong, sending us to someone’s home; we found the hotel down the road and around the corner, so the website address needs fixing.
