I travel a lot, and this was honestly one of the most disgusting places ever; my bed covers had stains, so I never slept on them. Out of 10 it’s a minus 10. The bedding was smelly and disgusting.

I paid for a twin room, but when we arrived the host said he had only prepared a double room and expected my male surveying colleague and me to share a bed. He refused to make the other bed without charging extra and didn’t speak a word of English. It’s an absolute disgrace that these people are allowed to stay in the country, let alone host on a hotel platform.

The location was fine. It wasn’t worth the £63 a night. My room looked like a dumping ground for old furniture, even an old kitchen sink and unit next to the radiator. If you wanted the reassurance of locking your door when you go out, it would be a £25 deposit for the key and another £25 for the remote.
