The staff were welcoming and kind, the garden was beautiful, and the meals were hearty and good quality. The traffic noise was annoying, and the pool felt a bit too cold.

The room and corridors were very clean, and I appreciated the staff who rarely get seen but do essential work. The receptionist at the front desk showed no interest in guests, never asked how the stay was, and seemed to just take the money; the furniture on the breakfast terrace was outdated, the beverage fridges were rusty, and the rooms felt uninviting. Breakfast was mediocre, with disappointing pastries; it would be better to serve a Spanish cake than industrial pastries that lack appeal, and only a few fruit slices were offered on request. In Spain you expect more fruit in September. Overall it wasn’t terrible.
