The hotel was quite tired and needed repairs, but the bedding was perfect, pure white. The room was large, yet the street was noisy enough that it felt odd when the door was locked. The breakfast was very good, and it was nice to see a water bottle in the room every day.

The hotel is in an excellent spot, just a short walk from Ortigia. The room was large and airy, the entrance and common areas were very nice, the breakfast was excellent and complete, and the staff were very courteous.

The staff were cordial and professional, the building was elegant and clean, the parking was convenient and the place was central for visiting Ortigia. It was the first hotel where I found water and granita available, and the breakfast offered both international and Sicilian options. In the photos there was a bathtub, but we had a walk‑in shower. Everything needed was provided.
