Being surrounded by nature was a highlight, especially chatting with Frank and joining his stone masonry workshop. I also loved strolling the homestead, learning about the trees and the building techniques used for the cabanas and the main house. A genuinely hands‑on, rustic experience.

Staying in the middle of nature gave me a calm night and the staff were friendly, the shower and toilet were clean, and the shared kitchen was handy. But the place is really isolated—no shops or restaurants nearby, so you need a car, and the lack of a mosquito net left me swarmed by insects. The bed wasn’t very clean and there was no toilet paper, which was disappointing.
