The hotel sits right on the edge of town, tucked into a really pretty little corner. It’s quiet enough to feel away from the hustle, but still close to everything you might need.

“Bonito refugio pero no lo consideraría Glamping”

We stayed in the “glamping” shelter that’s literally right on the riverbank – there’s a tiny bench out front where you can sip mate and watch the water. The communal area is great for swapping stories with other travelers, which is the best part. Unfortunately the bed is a nightmare: a big mattress on a tiny frame, so you’re constantly sliding off the edge.

“Une bonne idée dommage qu’il n’y ait pas assez d’entretien”

The cabins are perfectly placed near the Patagonia park trailheads, and the riverside setting is calm and pleasant – the whole cabin concept is pretty cool. On the downside, the common areas look neglected: trash is left on the ground, the toilets have no paper or soap, and the shared kitchen is filthy, with no fridge and dirty tables. The barrel lamps don’t work either, and the price feels steep for what’s offered.

The location is unbeatable, with stunning scenery all around. The dome itself is beautiful and stays warm, but on the second night the mattress was so worn out we practically slept on a board. First night was fine, second night was uncomfortable.
