The owner is incredibly kind and always ready for a chat. The garden is huge and great for the dog to run around. The beds and the big sofa are nice. However, the house needs some maintenance: there’s a tear in the kitchen cabinets, the freezer compartment in the fridge has a broken lid, and other small issues. It’s not a big problem, but it would be nicer if those things were fixed.

The location is ideal for driving around and visiting the Netherlands. The setting is perfect for resting. The accommodation is quite spacious with equipment (washing machine, dishwasher…) and the dad is very friendly in welcoming you. It was prefabricated, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. On‑site quality was lacking (only two small duvets for the double bed, not many dishes especially glasses, and it wasn’t always very clean). The electrical system only allows one appliance to be on at a time. The mower started at 7 am by the window. The windows’ glass condition was poor. If you’re coming with pets, send a message to the owner before booking even if it says “pets accepted” on Booking and even if you mention it in the reservation; it will avoid unpleasant surprises.

The space was very nice, but there were spiders.

The location, countryside view, large garden, spacious chalet, and calmness were great, yet the inventory was lacking.
