Hazel is an excellent host. The views are lovely, and the rooms are very nice. It’s walking distance to a nice restaurant, and breakfast is brilliant. Be aware you might need to park on the road (free and possible). Satnav may take you a less ideal route down an unmade road if you’re not careful.

Very nice hosts. Great view of the Thames Valley. We could use the terrace both in the evening and for breakfast in the morning. In Higham itself there was no pub that stayed open in the evenings.

From arriving late to checking out, everything was brilliant; Hazel greeted me even though she was almost 2 hrs late and arranged a meal after my 8‑hour journey, the room was excellent in every way, and the view the next morning was fantastic. 😊😊😊😊😊😊
