The front desk was unhelpful and told us there were no nearby places for dinner, insisting we drive to the town centre instead; we ended up exploring on our own and found a nearby entertainment hall with 6‑8 eateries, plus a large outdoor pizza joint the next morning. The hotel was cheap and cheerful, just what we needed after driving from London to Puglia, but the reception staff were arrogant, snotty, and not at all friendly. I travel worldwide and have dealt with front desk staff before, but they should at least smile and be humble.
