The price and the room itself had no particular issues. Payment could be made in US dollars. The bathroom ceiling was under repair, so I didn’t feel like taking a shower, although the shower itself seemed usable. It’s about a 15‑minute walk from the city centre.

It’s a family‑run business with good facilities; the room was spacious and clean. It’s a bit out of town but still within walking distance. The family answered all my requests and was always helpful. It’s a very good option in town. Depending on the room you get, it can be a bit noisy. Dogs, chickens and bird nests around the house mean noise can start early in the morning.

The location is close to the old town, the Mekong and the evening food market, yet the place is quiet. The manager is helpful and offers useful advice and assistance.

Everything was fine. The manager was truly commendable. Nothing in particular. It’s a bit far from the centre, 1 km, but a quarter‑hour walk.
