The location is great, and the room was spacious with a small balcony that looked out over the bay. Inside, there was a big TV, a comfy king‑size bed, bathrobes, and a sizable bathroom featuring a walk‑in shower. Breakfast at the on‑site restaurant was decent, but dinner service in the same place dragged on painfully. My husband complained that the HVAC noise kept him up at night, and the pillows felt too firm. I use ear plugs, so the noise didn’t bother me; I think I was the only one who found a pillow that fit me. What really bothered me about the Kilmorey was that the room wasn’t refreshed after our first night. We paid over $1200 CDN for two nights, so I would have expected the bed to be made in the morning and clean wine glasses, among other things, to be provided.

Everything was spot on. We stayed with two toddlers, had a pack‑and‑crib ready, and the room was perfect. The balcony overlooking the lake was gorgeous for sunrise, and the room and surrounding area stayed quiet.
