“Terrible experience”

I’ve never been treated so rudely in my travels. The host demanded cash payment immediately upon arrival, something he never mentioned before, so I didn’t have the exact amount. He forced me on his bike to find an ATM, but the local machines wouldn’t accept my card. He started screaming at me to cancel the reservation, threatening to throw me out even though I booked a month earlier. I refused to leave and considered calling the police because he was so aggressive. Fortunately I found Euros and Dollars, he accepted them, and I left. He put me in a stressful situation I’ve never experienced elsewhere. For this to happen in Indonesia, known for its friendly people, was a real shock. I don’t recommend this place or this host; his behavior is unacceptable.

I was extremely satisfied! The room and its surroundings are comfortable and beautiful, and the host family is exceptionally friendly and hospitable. On my first day they not only arranged airport pickup but also took me to a supermarket to buy daily necessities. What a wonderful experience!

The family was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived all nearby restaurants were closed, so she cooked us some delicious mie goreng.

The house is beautiful and the host is very caring and attentive. It’s a bit remote, but conveniently located at the junction between the southern spots and the airport. The place is clean and well‑maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that includes a blender, good wine glasses, and small serving plates. The interior is simple yet stylish, with touches like candles and aroma sticks. There are two bedrooms, but it feels more like a house for three— the second bedroom is small with a single bed. Two showers, excellent Wi‑Fi, a comfortable bed, and a smart TV. There’s a small terrace. I missed a pool and a bit more outdoor space, but that would be a different price. Thank you very much; I’ll happily remember my time here!

The house is very cozy and convenient. The host is the friendliest and most client‑focused I’ve met on all my travels. He’s a pleasant person and a great conversationalist, always ready to suggest interesting places and the best ways to get there. He can also help with bike rentals. The house is modern and fully equipped, yet it retains a local Balinese charm with wooden elements and small decorative statues. The canopy bed is both beautiful and practical, keeping out the mosquitoes (not many). The rugs are in the right spots, and there’s plenty of kitchenware: a quality frying pan, a blender, even a pot for hot pot or sukiyaki. Good air conditioning, Android TVs in each room, a nice shower, and very clean linens that can be changed every 2–3 days at your request. It’s clear the host puts a lot of effort and time into this place, and that care extends to the guests. Delicious breakfasts are provided each morning. The house sits on a quiet, pleasant street with friendly neighbors and cute animals. I would gladly return.
