The beds and rooms were clean and comfortable. The room with its private pool was great, but it falls short of being a true five‑star hotel as they claim. It’s nice to have the beach right on the property, and the staff are excellent and kind. The food was the only negative point.

The view was phenomenal, and the food was very good with a wide variety to choose from. There was no waiting or queuing anywhere. The staff were all very friendly. The only annoyance was guests reserving beach beds early in the morning by leaving towels out and then not showing up until late, which is frustrating. If that could be prevented, everything else at Porto Bello would be perfect.

We were staying at this hotel for the fifth time and, as always, we were satisfied. The problem is that guests bring their bath towels to the beach early in the morning to reserve a sun lounger, and this should be monitored. The overall level of guests has unfortunately dropped significantly for a ☆☆☆☆☆ hotel, judging by their attire at dinner and the like.

Absolutely luxurious—staff were incredibly friendly, the food selection was outstanding, and I would highly recommend it. Joana from TUI was fantastic, went above and beyond to arrange trips and transfers from the hotel. Nothing to complain about!
