The spot is excellent, the staff are genuinely friendly, the room is lovely, and the price isn't too bad. Breakfast is included, but it might be worth the same price.

The staff are friendly, especially the girls at the breakfast restaurant and the helpful concierge. The room is nice with a partial view of the Harbour, well equipped with a bath, shower, and a comfortable bed. As late‑risers on holiday, we found breakfast was abruptly ended at 10.30am. The air conditioning in the room was hard to set to a pleasant cool temperature (1702).

Everything was pretty outstanding. We were pleased to see the room décor wasn't as tacky as the photos might imply. Our room had a "limited harbor view," meaning it only showed part of the view, but it included the good part: the ICC tower with its nightly illuminations and the building that essentially acts as a screen on its façade. The hotel sits just off the lively part of Lockhart Road, minutes from Causeway Bay MTR station and Time Square, and a short walk to Wan Chai. Breakfast was light but tasty with many fruit options, and the ladies in charge, A.C. and Zel, if I remember correctly, were great! The glass loo walls offer a little twist, letting you see your travel partner from new angles. In an interesting twist, I left a bunch of clothing items in the room after checking out; they were all neatly collected and returned to me when I called back a couple of days later. I would stay again. The only downside was that the pocket wifi for taking outside, and neither room wifi nor pocket wifi were good enough for a work video conference. The room wifi would drop every couple of minutes.

The hotel is lovely, very private, with a great location, spacious rooms, and a beautiful design throughout. Breakfast is nice, and if you dislike crowds and lines, this is the place for you. The toilet lacks a bidet, and the TV setup is overly complicated; we struggled to connect our phone, so bringing your own HDMI cable is advisable.

There’s a great selection of international dishes, and the eggs Benedict and coffee are deliciously fragrant.
