The spot was handy as a pit‑stop on my way to the Scottish Highlands, the room was comfy, the shower worked well, and breakfast was solid, but I couldn’t find a dinner option that matched my tastes, though that was my own preference, not the house’s fault.

The property sits right on the edge of the village, the host welcomed us warmly, the room was pleasant, we got made‑to‑order breakfast that was lovely, the place is small and quiet, they accept dogs (though we didn’t bring one) and handled gluten‑free requests excellently; the town is only a 5‑minute drive by car.

La stanza era spaziosa e bellissima con una vetrata verso l'esterno meravigliosa. La colazione fantastica, preparata e servita in modo amorevole da Pru la proprietaria che ci ha dato ottimi consigli sulle cose da visitare. La posizione è comoda per visitare il Lake District e il Vallo di Adriano con spostamenti limitati e meravigliosi da fare visto i paesaggi e panorami stupendi! Consigliatissimo!!!. niente
