We couldn't locate the apartment at all – even after taking a taxi and asking locals the address was vague. The phone number they gave never rang, so we were left hanging. I wouldn't recommend it.

The place is right across from the old city wall, so most sights are just a short walk away. The staff didn’t speak much English, but they quickly moved me to a room with decent Wi‑Fi after the first one had almost none.

It sits close to the wall, which is handy, though the nearest metro stop at Changlemen is a bit of a trek. For the price I thought it was a decent deal.

The place is right in the middle of everything and the staff were really helpful, sorting out our transport and communication issues without any hassle. Nothing else to complain about.
