The area around the accommodation isn’t pretty; there are stray dogs everywhere. In our case nothing bad happened, but we couldn’t tell if they had owners. Even the dogs from the property barked at us on the first day, and no one was there to greet us.

“Nice, but a couple issue”

The room was cozy, roomy, and appeared clean, with a nice water dispenser. On the second night, however, the bathroom was swarmed by many small flies—an odd, one‑off thing since the first night was fine, so we just got unlucky. The dogs also felt a bit scary at first, especially before they got used to you.

“Езжу сюда из Убуда”

The new guesthouse was spotless and the location was perfect—less than 8 minutes by scooter to Melasti Beach, 5 minutes to the Orthodox church, 3 minutes to Pepitto. On the road near the entrance there was a great Turkish kebab shop with yogurt, hummus, ayran, kebabs, shashlik; food was tasty. The room lacked a coffee machine (despite the description) and water, but it had a mini‑fridge, good air‑con, a wide comfortable bed, blackout curtains, and everything else was very clean. I left a new shirt there, and the staff sent it back to me in Ubud, even though I paid for it—very helpful. Inside, there was a comfy sofa for calls, a nice bedside lamp with warm light, plenty of sockets, good towels, and it was quiet. The downside was the roosters—though not too loud, I slept with earplugs and it was fine. I slept well. There was no water, but nearby shops were available, and the Wi‑Fi didn’t work.

It was quiet and private, and the host was excellent—nothing to complain about.
