The only thing that worked was the grill area. The kitchen was useless—no fridge, no easy access, a door that wouldn’t close properly, and a bunch of cats. The host gave us a fridge, but it was in the house upstairs, not in the kitchen. The finishes were underwhelming, the glass doors were cracked, and the bathrooms were messy. Even the service toilet next to the grill was “spoit” when we arrived, and it wasn’t cleaned on check‑out day.

We stayed in an apartment in Jurilovca, a town that offers far more than Sălcioara. The hosts were welcoming and gave us useful information and services. The only downside was the broken tiles around the apartment block.

The host was very pleasant, communicative, and did everything possible to help. The only issue was that the location shown on Maps was incorrect.

The most pleasant surprise was the host: kind, friendly, and making you feel like visiting relatives. She was very relaxed, especially regarding our dogs, and her presence was truly warm and hospitable.
