The location was excellent, the rooms were spacious, and the three‑floor layout gave everyone privacy; the AC was very loud, though not as loud as some cars racing down Main Street.

I was close to the bank arena, but the price felt steep for what we got. The breakfast was awful—my wife got diarrhea after the quiche, so it was just terrible.

The stay was comfy and right by the event venue, and the hotel felt very safe because you need a card to get in. The staff were super friendly and helpful. However, if someone slipped in, there was nothing to stop them from walking to the guest floors; maybe the elevator key scanner should be required to select a floor.

Everyone we met—front desk, housekeeping, and the parking attendant—was friendly, polite, and helpful, which was a real bright spot. The building’s exterior looked like a nicely restored historic spot. Yet the hotel itself was shabby: ripped curtains, threadbare carpet, uncooled AC, a broken refrigerator, and stains on bathroom walls. It was clean, but the price didn’t match the lack of polish. Every area smelled bad, and our room had a spoiled‑food odor, probably from something left in the non‑working fridge that only lit up until you pulled a drink and found it warm.
