When I arrived, the situation was unacceptable and far below any basic health, safety, or hospitality expectations. Within 10 minutes of checking in, the power cut out entirely, and the host even told me to look at the electrical panel myself, which felt unprofessional and unsafe. The room was in a terribly unhygienic state, with hair from previous guests, dirty bed linens, and a strong moldy odor. Neither the private bathroom nor the shower area had a window or proper ventilation, which made the mold smell worse. As a Housekeeping Manager with more than 12 years of experience, I can say with certainty that this place is not fit for accommodation, and I’ve attached photos that show these serious problems.

“Great solution when you are out all day in Porto”

I really liked the location and it was easy to find the building and enter my room. The room was spacious and neatly organized, and the bed was huge and comfortable. However, there was no air conditioning, so even with the fan it was very hot, and I think the toiletries provided should be reconsidered.

The house itself was fine and the location was good, but my experience was marred by the room looking like it had been left untouched for days, with dust on the bed. When I asked if I could get fresh linens, the staff asked me to send a photo of the dust, treating it as a stain, and then never responded to my follow‑up message. The staff service was very poor.
