Spotless and cozy. The manager quickly handled the few hiccups we had. Walls are thin, but everyone keeps it quiet at night, which makes it a good choice.

The location was perfect for our three‑day stay in Kyoto. We were two friends, so being able to close the sliding door between the bathroom and bedroom was a nice touch for extra privacy. Across from a supermarket and close to the station, with a few solid local restaurants nearby. The room was tiny, so a large and a small suitcase felt cramped. No chopsticks, just one fork, but the supermarket had what we needed. No bidet, but that was manageable. The price was cheap and fair.
