I really enjoyed the breakfast, the coffee station, and how clean everything was, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The sink in my bathroom was clogged, but I tried to make the best of it because it was my birthday weekend, and I was annoyed when they started calling me with timeshare offers and sharing my info; that made me mad, and I ended up booking elsewhere.

The front desk person was amazing, staying from 6 PM the previous evening until 12 PM the next day—a very long shift—and they were kind, sweet, and welcoming.

Nothing. Upon entering the room, we noticed a strong and persistent mold or mildew odor that appeared to originate from the air-conditioning unit. The stench was so severe that it became difficult to breathe normally. My allergies were significantly aggravated, making continued occupancy of the room unbearable. Although we had paid for a two-night stay, the condition of the room forced us to leave on the morning of Sunday, August 30, after only one night. We did not leave because of a change in our travel plans. We left because the room’s air quality created an intolerable and potentially unhealthy environment. I did not feel that hotel management would provide a meaningful solution because the condition of the room appeared to be considered acceptable according to the hotel’s standards. However, a room with such a strong mold odor—especially one that affects a guest’s breathing and allergies—should not be considered suitable for occupancy

The location was perfect for heading to Gruene, the air‑conditioning was very cold, the room was clean, and the front door staff were friendly and helpful.
