Everything is new and looks clean and fresh. This hotel is made for the looks, not for daily comfort. It shows there is a hot tub, there isn’t—just a normal bath. There is no chair for your clothes or other storage; I had to use the TV to hang my clothes. The lights for the mirror are horrible; you’re always standing in your own shade (you will get annoyed every time you use the mirror). English is quite bad, all the signs are in Korean. There is a lot of commercial (Korean) stuff inside. The location is not near any interesting spot, about a 20‑minute walk from the metro, quite okay. The breakfast is a pick‑up you have to reserve before (the packaging is more than will fit in your little garbage bin). For a brand‑new hotel… sorry, but too many points will annoy you during your stay.

The newly renovated, spotless motel‑style building sits about a 25‑minute walk from Jianguo University Station and a 30‑minute walk from Seongsu‑dong; it’s a little removed from the bustling centre but a GS25 convenience store is just two minutes away on foot. The room featured an open‑plan bathtub that felt perfect for a couple, plus pajamas, a speaker, a movable Smart TV, a huge tub, a fridge, green tea bags and a tea set, and a microwave you could use down in the basement. They also handed us a tasty breakfast box with three options—oddly not two, which was a bit puzzling—and it was served from 07:30 to 09:30, but you have to book it the day before; we arrived past midnight on the first night and missed that chance. Staff were on‑call 24 hours, check‑in was a breeze, and the daytime owner (who seemed to speak Chinese) greeted us; check‑in started at 18:00 and check‑out was at 12:00, making it feel more like a upgraded motel that now welcomes regular travellers, which matched the mostly ordinary guests we saw. After planning our itinerary we realized the weekend coincided with EXO and BTS concerts, spring break and cherry‑blossom season, so Seoul prices had surged and only less‑central options were left; I was lucky to snag a room before the price spike, especially since many bookings were cancelled and the only remaining places were pricey. The hotel confirmed our reservation promptly, proving they’re a trustworthy operator, so I’d recommend them to others. Traveling here as a tourist means you have to take a city bus to the airport shuttle, which isn’t the most convenient, and the climate‑card won’t work on the free airport express, so topping it up isn’t advisable. The whole building is brand‑new and smoke‑free, with no cigarette smell, and it looks like a sleek modern inn, though the elevator scent seemed a bit over‑sprayed. The wallpaper isn’t perfectly smooth and the door is a little stiff, but those are nitpicky details. The bathroom lacks a separate enclosure or door, making it best for couples, and the shower and tub share the same space, which can be inconvenient; however, Korea’s dry climate means the steam level is just right and there’s a humidifier function.
