My kids adored the showerhead that changed colors, the remote‑controlled blind, and the 1980s telephone; there was nothing negative, and my boys want me to book another night just for the experience.

The room was very faded, the bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom fittings were old, yet it was very clean and offered plenty of amenities.

For a long weekend it was good enough, especially since it’s right next to the main centre with pubs, cafés, shops and walking tracks. The Saturday market was a fun outing we just walked to. The only downside was that fresh towels weren’t provided on the second day.
