“Stylový apartmán s krásným výhledem na město a hory”
The apartment with a private entrance and balcony is tucked inside a rural house on a quiet slope beneath a forest, offering a stunning view of the city and the mountains. Walking to the city center takes 2 km, and the edge of town near Penny Market is just over a kilometer away. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and we even discussed our hiking plans with them. They also gave us "Gästekarten," which let us ride regional trains and buses for free. We recommend, for instance, taking the train from Aschau to the nearby town of Prien am Chiemsee and then a boat to Herreninsel with the castle Herrenchiemsee. Another great excursion was the cable car trip from Aschau on the Kampenwandbahn, paired with lunch at the Schlechtenbergalm (salaš at 1250 m). The apartment itself was absolutely fantastic; we had everything we needed and were completely satisfied. We also rate the location very highly for hikers, as it was a perfect base for mountain trips and city outings around Chiemsee. We can only recommend staying in this apartment. Everything was super.
